Run in collaboration with the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a Brazilian host university and additional local partners, there have been eight editions of the Public Health Collaborative Field Course in four major Brazilian cities. The January course combines lectures, discussions, and site visits (hospitals, health facilities, NGOs, and community-based programs) with group work on five specific topics. Roughly half of the faculty and students come from Harvard while the other half come from a variety leading Brazilian institutions.
