Aula Aberta with Professor Theresa Betancourt

Dr. Betancourt has extensive experience in conducting research among children and families in low-resource settings, particularly in the context of humanitarian emergencies. One of her projects focuses specifically on families with young children (< 3 years) living in extreme poverty and involves providing such families home visiting interventions via Rwanda’s Social Protection system. During her talk, she will discuss how this program works and the challenges of addressing early childhood concerns in areas of high vulnerability.
