To mark the accomplishments of the first decade of the Brazil Office and Program, we convened a one-day event on June 28, 2016 in São Paulo, Brazil. The event highlighted the research, education, and impact of key activities and collaborative initiatives between Harvard University and Brazilian scholars, government officials, and professionals, before looking ahead to challenges and opportunities for further impact in the next ten years. Panels featured early childhood development, student experiences, the cities initiative, and future opportunities for research and impact in the natural and social sciences, engineering, and business. Brazilian scholars and Harvard faculty, students, and alumni participated.
The event agenda, the 10th Anniversary Report, and photos of the event are available below, as well as a story published in the Harvard Gazette, the official news website of the University.
